ANFT Nature & Forest Therapy Guide

How can I take care of others, if I don't first learn to take care of myself?
Hazel discovered forest bathing during the Covid-19 pandemic when, unable to travel, she took 10 days off work to simply do nothing. While this started out as a daily choice to take walks in her neighbourhood, interacting with trees and flowers, she eventually found herself confronting a deeper truth about her own relationship with rest. She had not been prioritising it, and she knew nothing about how to ask others for help.
It was then that she embarked on a journey towards awareness, building her relationship with nature as a means to reconnect with her unmet needs. In forest bathing, she learnt to rest her body and mind. She learnt to breathe, and to see life with clarity.
Today, Hazel considers it her life's purpose to invite others on this same journey. Whether they are weary professionals, parents, or over-achievers, her invitation is for others to realise that you don't have to bear all of life's responsibilities on your own. It is possible to slow down, to be present, to ground yourself in nature when life starts to get stressful.
Hazel is also the Co-founder and COO of a digital marketing agency that has worked with global brands. Prior to entrepreneurship, she was a marketer for close to 2 decades. She loves telling a good brand story, and seeing how such stories can leave an impact on others.
