? FAQ

  • Forest therapy walks are suitable to take place in light rain and the program flows with the conditions, with nature being an active co-creator of the experience. In the case of lightning and heavy showers, safety will be prioritized and activities will continue under shelter.

  • As the activity promotes independent nature explorations and restfulness, we recommend age 12 and above to participate. Parents coming with younger kids requiring caregiving may find it hard to receive the therapeutic effects of the practice.

  • While the pace of the programme is slow, it will still involve some walking and sitting on the ground. Individuals should consider their suitability and join with the company of a caregiver and bring their own device (i.e. foldable chairs) to ensure personal comfort.

  • Forest therapy is an open practice conducted in a secular manner with the intent to deepen our relationships with nature. Participants are free to draw their own meaning according to their personal faith and beliefs, and have full autonomy over their own interpretations. We are inclusive.

  • Feel free to bring along any waterproof sheets, cloths or towels sufficiently size for you to sit or lie comfortably. Affordable mats can be found from Daiso as well. There will also be some spare mats prepared by the guides for those who needs to borrow one.
